Appointment as a member of the Cycling England Local Authority Professional Support Team working with local authorities and other organisations to provide technical support and advice on policy, engineering, planning and publicity about cycling. (On-going contract).

Preparation of a guide to streetscape quality audits, based on six pilot projects in Cumbria. (Current project).

Development and delivery of a training programme to TfL staff, and London Borough officers and councillors on the London Cycling Design Standards (with PTRC, University of Nottingham, University of Bolton, Atkins).

Rural Road Character Project, implementing the recommendations of Friends of the Lake District’s report into the changing character of rural roads, ‘Rural Roads at Risk - Saving the Character of Country Roads’.

Preparation of a Transport Assessment and a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment to support the planning application for a cycle path on the disused railway route in the Wye Valley.

Worcester City Cycle Audit, carrying out a comprehensive audit of 22 cycle routes in Worcester City and formulating a strategic action plan to enhance the conditions for cycling in Worcester. (with Integrated Transport Planning)

Review of Sustrans Scotland School Travel Programme to determine whether its objectives are being met and whether new or alternative activities and projects should be considered.

Feasibility study on demand responsive public transport services for Boughton and Ollerton, an ex-mining area in the Nottinghamshire coalfield.
